The August Book Club was a full house! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces along with several new members.

A special thank you to Nancy Meade for leading discussion, helping moderate and giving us information about the author before she zoomed in.

It was such a treat to hear about Author Monica Wood's writing journey, learning more about the book, and having the opportunity to ask questions. During our conversation, Monica shared that her personal favorite book she’s written is The One in a Million Boy (if you want to add it to your reading list).

• Discussion Leader Needed: One of the things that makes our Book Club so special is that it's member led. We're looking for a volunteer to lead our September discussion. If you are interested, please let us know.

• Future Book Suggestions: Please send us your recommendations for our November and December books. Since we’ll be reading the November selection during October, it’s the perfect opportunity to suggest a mystery/suspense, Halloween themed novel, or anything with a spooky or autumn feel.
