I have worked many J.O.B.s all over this country & I have #bigplans to #expand my own #company #internationally VERY SOON! 🙆🏻‍♀️

I began my #entrepreneurial #journey quite some time ago.

I was probably 18 or so when I started to get interested in #workingonline.

I've done everything from #makeupsales, to #insurancesales, to #affiliatemarketing, #cutlerysales & so many other wonderful opportunities that just didn't work for me.

All the while slaving away in an office or a cubicle trying to climb that ladder. 😩

After what had already been a rough 3 years, I was laid off.

I was furious/scared/depressed...all the feels & that did it for me! 🙅🏻‍♀️

Thankfully, the many years of diligence in #business wasn't in vain & I was able to receive unemployment benefits.

This was my opportunity to #educatemyself & that I did. 👩🏻‍💻

I knew that my 13 years of experience & #education had to be a #marketable asset. I mean, there HAD to be SOMEONE out there that I could help #remotely, ESPECIALLY in today's #technological age.

Thus began my endless research for anything & everything that would help me build something bigger, something to give me a real purpose!

I found a lot of great #virtualassistant #mentors who offered free #content #online. 👩🏻‍💼

(Funny/Full Circle Side Note: when I began to dabble in affiliate marketing back in 2016, I had actually discovered that #virtualassistants existed & thought to myself, "Hmm, I wonder how you do that?" But I was so #dedicated to learning to be an #affiliate that I never gave it a second thought. 🌌✨🌌)

Anyway, I started to put myself out there as a #freelancer & actually got some results.

I became obsessed with #freelancing! But it wasn't quite enough to "pay the bills."

& then…

I had my 3rd back surgery (yes, 3rd) 3 days after my 31st birthday. 🙇🏻‍♀️

Talk about #devastation!

I was sooo angry & sad. Not only because of the unexpected surgery, but because I had other things going on financially that were causing me feelings of overwhelm & lack.

So, I did the only thing I could do & I started to mimic those mentors.

What's the worst that could happen, right? If I failed, I’d be right back where I was before? Big deal.

Funny how being #fedup can be your biggest #motivator…(a lot of #personaldevelopment helps, too) 🧘🏻‍♀️📚🙏🏻

One night, as I laid in bed, recovering from my back surgery, I created an #Instagram account, then a #page. Then I rebranded my current #website & #BOOM! 💥

#VibrantVAS (aka #VibrantVAServices) was born!

Exactly 3 months from the day of my surgery, I applied for my #LLC. A day later, I became a #smallbusinessowner!

I can't express enough #gratitude to those who have helped me along the way; family, friends, clients...myself.

I can't express the unbelievable, #cloud9 feeling that I'm the owner of a #LimitedLiabilityCompany!

I did it! (in my best #ElleWoods voice) 💃🏻

The only thing I CAN say for certain is this:
