GAME PREVIEW: UNF @ Dayton 12/5
After UNF's amazing shooting duel against LSU on Wednesday things don't get any easier for the Ospreys.
Saturday's opponent is a Dayton squad that has already racked up some very impressive wins this season. The Flyers absolutely destroyed an Alabama squad (80-48) that has owned UNF the last few years. In addition, they racked up nice wins over Iowa, Monmouth and William & Mary squads who all look like they could be dancing this March. Luckily for the Ospreys, they may be able to catch the Flyers while they are down. Dayton is fresh off their first loss of the season, a 61-90 thwacking by Xavier.
One aspect of play that looks to play heavily into the match is the Ospreys ability at the foul line. UNF should get plenty of chances as the Flyers have shown a struggle to adjust to new rule changes by committing 140 fouls in their six games so far. They average 23.3 fouls per game. That’s almost nine more than last season.

FINAL: UNF 108 - LSU 119. Ospreys put on a shooting master class in route to setting a program record for threes in a game (19)! However, LSU freshman forward Ben Simmons owned the Ospreys down low with 43 points in a performance that made him look like a future NBA All-Star. UNF's next game is Saturday at Dayton.

GAME PREVIEW: UNF (6-2) takes on LSU (3-3) tonight at 8 PM in Baton Rouge. The Ospreys and Tigers are currently on two very opposite swings of momentum. UNF is on a three game winning streak, while LSU has dropped their last three including a 58-70 road loss to the College of Charleston. The currently lead the country in threes made. The Tigers can't seem to stop the three on defense. Ben Simmons, one of the most heralded freshman products in years, seems to be bearing all of the work for the Tigers, and it hasn't been enough lately. On the other hand, the Ospreys are showing a strong balance with five players averaging in double digits scoring.

The Ospreys came out with an 80-72 W, but it wasn't a repeat of last year's 46 point win over the Eagles. In post-game interviews Coach Driscoll said Trinity Baptist by far played their "best game of the season". UNF will now travel on Dec. 2nd to Baton Rouge to take on Ben Simmons and the LSU Tigers who are on a three game losing streak.
