4th grade done! 5th grade here he comes! What a successful year Luke has had. So proud of what he was able to accomplish. He had an amazing teacher, Ms Vickers, and so much support from Fishweir’s amazing staff. They all genuinely were invested in his success and I’m so grateful for everyone.

It really puts everything into perspective when I receive a message like this. I teach a fitness class for teachers at a school and one my class members sent me this message. This is why I love what I do. Long days of Personal training, coaching and teaching classes giving everything I have to make a difference in someone’s life. It’s so emotional and rewarding. I thank God for the clients that have given me an opportunity to be a part of their journey. ❤️

Today we had our last session and we said goodbye as Sam leaves Florida and embarks in her new journey. 😢 I am so blessed to have worked with her for a year and so proud of the transformation she has made. She is a light in this world and as sad it is to see her leave, I’m so excited for this next chapter. #904

Hip pain and discomfort is a common injury for most of us. It is important to take time to specifically work on hip and glute strength. This will improve mobility, strength and range of motion. You will see your squats improve and decrease the risk of a hip injury. Use a band that’s light to medium to begin with. Then increase weight if you’d like as you get stronger. Building strength in your core if one of the most important things you can do to protect your back. It is also important to build that strength when recovering from a back injury. Once you have clearance from a doctor to exercise, these core exercises should help pave the way to a stronger core.

Here is part 3 to variations to the Bulgarian Split Squat. Here I added 2 ways to add intensity to any variation of everyone’s favorite leg exercise 😝. In this video I used my Bowflex dumbbell plates to elevate my foot. You can use any elevation method just as long as your foot remains steady. Add this little spice to your next leg workout! #904
