With heat index being 106 at game time, all games tonight are canceled. As previously stated, we follow TSSAA guidelines. Those guidelines do not allow play outdoors at 104 or above.

Thank you for understanding that the safety of our players, coaches, employees, volunteers, and spectators are our main priority.

Jellico Jr. Pro is aware of heat advisory in our area. We are monitoring this closely. I wanted to share the TSSAA Heat Policy that we follow. As of now, we are looking at a heat index of 93% at start time of first game. This requires 3 separate breaks every hour for 3 minutes.

With Twee Ball being a 30 minute game, we will take a 5 minute water break at the 15 minute mark. All players will be required to come off the field and into the dugout or to their parents for that 5 minute break. The timer will be stopped at this time. At the 25 minute mark on the timer, we will finish the batter, not the inning.

For coach pitch, we are looking at 92% heat index at start time. We will take a 3 minute water break every 20 minutes. Players will be required to leave the field and go into the dugout or to their parents for this break. The timer will be stopped at the times of breaks.

Please be sure yourself and your players stay hydrated this week. We will continue to monitor the heat as the week progresses.

🚨 Jellico Jr. Pro Game Update 🚨

Due to the field conditions still being unsafe, tonight’s Jellico Jr. Pro games scheduled for Friday, 6/19/26, are canceled.

After checking the fields, they are still too wet and are sinking when stepped on. To protect the safety of our players, coaches, and families, we have made the decision to cancel tonight’s games.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we work through the weather conditions. Player safety will always be our top priority.

🌧️ Jellico Jr. Pro Weather Update ⚾🥎

Due to the continued rain, current field conditions, and the potential for thunderstorms throughout the evening, tonight’s games (Thursday, 6/18) are canceled.

The safety of our players, coaches, families, and fans is always our top priority. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation as we make the best decision for our league.

⚾️ Jellico Jr. Pro is excited to kick off our 2026 baseball season! ⚾️

Unfortunately, we did not have enough players to form teams for Minor Softball, Major Softball, or Major Baseball this season. Refunds will be issued for all online signups in those divisions. Anyone who signed up in person will be contacted about picking up their refund.

Coaches for Twee Ball and Coach Pitch already have their rosters. We are currently waiting on one final coach confirmation for Minor Baseball, and those rosters will be sent out this evening.

Please give coaches until Sunday to reach out to you regarding your child’s team information.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and support, and we’re looking forward to a great season! ❤️⚾️
