I was nominated by to show how we keep the creative juices flowing at Liz Bickley Studios.

A few years ago we moved from New York City to Jersey City (office is still in NYC!) for an upgrade in living space.

(Somehow, during a quarantine, 1,000 square feet doesn’t seem as grand as it once did!)

Even though I wish we could be in the office working away or running around the city producing events, I’m beyond grateful to be home with the ones I love. We’re officially one month in to our quarantine and I’m pleasantly surprised by the amount of inspiration that comes from my little family.

However, living and working in a small space all day everyday can be tough! In order to avoid going stir crazy with two working adults and a precocious 9 month old, we try to do little things like cocktails and dressing up for happy hour twice a week!

I love colorful vases in lieu of flowers and kill for a unique bar cart. This bar cart fits the bill perfectly!

And it just happened that our drinks matched today’s decor!

Cocktail recipe:
✔️muddled raspberries
✔️local gin
✔️seltzer
✔️lime & mint (smack the mint to loosen the oils!)
