A busy weekend in college football. Iowa State kicks things off on Saturday morning at 11 AM. The Cyclones look to get back to winning against Bowling Green. The Falcons are winless this season, having been outscored 76-20 in their first two games.

Iowa plays Northern Iowa just after 3 PM. This is the first meeting between the Hawkeyes and the Panthers since 2018. It's the Hawks' last non-conference game before next week's Big 10 Conference opener at Michigan.

Former Hawkeye and host of the Washed-Up Walkons Podcast, Tyler Kluver, will join the show at 7:30 AM to preview the game.

As Iowa and Iowa State prepare for Saturday's games, both teams are dealing with injuries after the CyHawk game.

The Cyclones lose wideout Evan Boyd for the season with a Knee injury. The Hawkeyes will be without tight end DJ Vonnhame against Northern Iowa. Vonnhame could be back for the Michigan game.

Another big football game in Iowa is on Saturday. Grand View, ranked #1 in the NAIA, will host Benedictine. Benedictine is coached by Iowa native, former Harland standout Joel Osborn. Osborn will join the show at 7:30.

Drake released its non-conference basketball schedule on Tuesday. Head Coach Eric Henderson will discuss the early competition at 7:00.
