Trojan Athletics

The Greater Johnstown School District and Athletic Department are looking to start a Hip Hop Dance Team for the 2026-2027 School Year.

Participants would compete at local competitions and try earn a bid to the Pennsylvania State Championships. Hip Hop may also dance at home athletic events and community events.

Due to an overwhelming number of students signing up for sports, the Greater Johnstown Athletic Department will have another day for free Sports Physical on Friday May 29, 2026. Please read the graphic below.

All students need to have a completed PIAA Physical dated May 1, 2026 or after to participate in any sport or music organization for the 2026-2027 School Year.

Congratulations to Manny Hill for receiving the Subich Trojan Spirit Scholarship for 2026. This scholarship is sponsored by 2013 Johnstown Alumnus Mr. Nick Subich. Mr. Subich awarded Manny with a $10K scholarship in recognition of dedication, teamwork, discipline, and academic excellence. Manny will continue his academic and athletic career at Mount Aloysius College to play baseball.
