The Management, Technical Team, Players and the entire Kamboi Eagles Football Club family today joined relatives, friends and sympathizers to pay their final respects to the late Mrs. Angela Gladys Sia Vandi, beloved wife of the club's Technical Director, Elogima Christian Vandi, during her funeral service in Kenema.

Mrs. Angela Gladys Sia Vandi passed away on 3rd July 2026 and is being laid to rest today, 18th July 2026, following a funeral service at Door International Church, Kenema. She will later be interred at Sembehun Cemetery.

To our respected Technical Director, Elogima Christian Vandi, we share in your grief during this incredibly difficult time. No words can truly ease the pain of losing a beloved wife and companion, but please know that the entire Kamboi Eagles family stands firmly with you. Your pain is our pain, and your sorrow is shared by everyone associated with this great club.

We pray that Almighty God grants the late Mrs. Angela Gladys Sia Vandi eternal rest and gives her husband, children, family and loved ones the strength, comfort and courage to bear this painful and irreplaceable loss.

Though she is no longer with us physically, her love, kindness and cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

As the curtain falls on the 2025/2026 Leone Rock Premier League season, Kamboi Eagles Football Club proudly reflects on a campaign filled with determination, resilience, unforgettable moments and invaluable lessons. The journey was far from easy, but it was one that showcased the fighting spirit and unbreakable character that have defined this great club for decades.

The Eagles concluded the season in 7th place with 45 points after 34 matches, recording 13 victories, 6 draws and 15 defeats, while scoring 34 goals and conceding 38. Although the final position may not fully reflect our ambitions, it tells only part of the story. Behind every point earned were countless hours of hard work, sacrifice, dedication and an enduring commitment to the badge.

This season tested us in many ways. There were moments of celebration that reminded us of our strength, and moments of disappointment that challenged our resolve. Through it all, Kamboi Eagles never stopped believing. Every setback became an opportunity to learn, every obstacle strengthened our character, and every match reinforced our determination to become a better football club.

A special and heartfelt appreciation goes to our visionary Executive Chairman, Alhaji Idriss Kamara, whose exceptional leadership, exceptional commitment and remarkable sacrifices have been the driving force behind Kamboi Eagles Football Club throughout the season. The Management and Board of Kamboi Eagles Football Club, Kenema, sincerely express their heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Hassan Balla, a proud son of Kenema currently residing in Australia, for his generous donation of 20 FIFA-standard footballs and 20 training jerseys to the club.

The donation was officially received by the Team Manager, Emmanuel Elogima Vandi, who conveyed the club's profound gratitude to Mr. Balla for his timely support. OBITUARY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Management and Board of Kamboi Eagles Football Club announce with profound sorrow the passing of Mrs. Angela Vandi, beloved wife of our Assistant Secretary General and Acting Technical Director, Mr. Christian Elogima Vandi.

Mrs. Vandi passed away in Freetown on Friday, 3rd July 2026.

On behalf of the entire Kamboi Eagles family, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Mr. Vandi, the Vandi family, and all loved ones during this painful time. We share in their grief and stand with them in solidarity, praying that they find strength, comfort, and peace in the cherished memories of her life.

Funeral arrangements will be communicated to our supporters, players, stakeholders, and the general public as soon as the family releases the official details.
