Congratulations to the Double K Farm team on a successful show!

We’ve had the opportunity to host a few group lessons for these riders over the summer and just completed a tune up on one of their show horses, Beau Machine. It’s nice to see all of the hard work pay off!

Savannah came to us a couple months ago with a goal… 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰.

Last weekend she did just that, PLUS

💸won a paycheck
🏅gained her first APHA points
📋rode to some personal best scores

𝐒𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐈 𝐌 𝐋𝐚𝐳𝐲 owned by Kathy Clymer roped and held her first steer with total confidence. This 3y/o is one of the most willing horses in the program and continues to show up when it counts.

𝐋𝐂 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝟓𝟏𝟔 owned by Maevis Solomon had one of her best go’s in the trail to date. At only 4 years old, she shows up like she’s 15 with a been there done that attitude.

𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 owned by Lee Simmons continues to put on a show in the herd work. She finished 3rd in a deep Open Ranch Cutting taking home points and a check.

𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 owned by Lee Simmons held her own in a tough herd at only her second show. Her confidence could not be shaken and she kept her mind on her job. A huge win for that filly.

𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐱 owned by Lee Simmons entered the show pen for the first time with the confidence we knew he had inside him all along. He made his first fence turns this weekend, completed a tough trail course with obstacles he’d never tackled before, and took home 2nd in a tough Open Ranch Reining as one of the only 3y/os to enter. An amazing show for a one-eyed stud c**t!

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 owned by LPH had some great schooling runs in preparation for the futurity this October. His athletic ability amazes us, and we’re just trying to keep up with him!

Thanks to our owners for sending us down the road once again!

We can’t wait to make it home and get back to work. These horses each have so much potential and we’re determined to take them to the top!

Special thanks to Cross J Tack Florida for hooking us up with another Don Rich saddle while we were down there. We rode in comfort all weekend!

🌟Gunners Special Nite x Dulces Lula Lena (Dulces Smart Lena)

“Tito” is a royally bred gelding that has the talent to shine in multiple events. He’s a great mover with solid transitions to put you ahead in the ranch riding, and has started developing a clean lead change. This gelding can rope and doctor cattle on the farm, trail ride, and is safe enough to tote kids around for a lesson. He’s an old soul that is one of the barn favorites.

Tito is trainer-owned and has been in a professional program most of his young life. We would love to keep in our program and get some wins in the show pen.

Toni Arnette got to hop on her 4-year-old for the first time yesterday and the smile says it all!

This big, strong mare has been in our program for 30-days and is going to turn in to one heck of a show pony.
