Friday at Linda's race recap

First engine swap and DNF of the season, however...

I think we've found our speed again.

Heat started P9 and gained 5 places in 8 laps to finish P4 thus qualify P11 for the feature.

Shifting issues led to an engine swap just to be safe (big bore to stroker). Stroker was a rocket and I was able to get 5 spots in 10 laps up to P6, but the chain popped due to the engine mount failing. Ended up P17 out of 28 total cars.

Huge thanks to Andrew Wunnenberg and Amanda for coming out and pitching in!

And always, a special thanks for all the support from my crew chief, Brooklyn Roberts .

Congrats to Brandon Heist for yet another dominant win.

See everyone next Friday at Linda's Speedway !

Saturday kart results - recap: awesome experience in new class and race conditions

Great practice sessions but carb issues in race practice.

Rain delay put us on wets (tires) for the heat (pre-final) race. A few laps in the engine stuttered a bit and wouldn't clear out on the top end so I pulled in early to avoid any damage.

Jet change in the pits leaned out the motor to run better. Considered changing the ignition wiring harness but instead rechecked the current one.

Started feature (final) race last at P25. Made a few spots on the start but got spun in turn 3 lap 1 (might have been on my own, actually).

I was able to recover and take 8 spots up to finish P17.

Different class, chassis, tires, race conditions, morning/afternoon/night races, and extremely talented competition - in others words, a great race experience.

Thanks to Andrew Wunnenberg for all of his efforts on the car for OVRP - Oakland Valley Race Park - Hannen Motorsports

Also, congrats to my Formula None Karting Team teammates Kaya and Dagney for their results in 125cc Junior and LO206 Light!

Time to wash the 270 car - come out to Linda's Speedway next Friday!

Saturday kart update

Practice went well but we needed to swap out the carb before the upcoming heat (pre-final) race.

Now we're under a rain/lightning delay but hope to get the race in tonight.

125cc is turning laps 6+ seconds faster per lap (40s vs 46s) and is a blast to drive.

Made it to OVRP - Oakland Valley Race Park - Hannen Motorsports early

Ryan here has built a rocketship - the first kart he built a while back from scratch.

Two practice sessions and having a blast!

Event practice starts at 2pm with racing complete by 10pm.

Stay tuned...

Friday at Linda's Speedway recap

P6 to P4 in the heat put us starting P12 in the feature.

P12 to P11 in the feature with a very packed field of talent.

Congrats to Brandon Heist on the dominant win and also to heist on last week's win.

Home at 12:30am and up at 4:30am for the 3 hour drive to OVRP - Oakland Valley Race Park - Hannen Motorsports for 125cc 2-stroke Lights Out series!

Last weekend was busy with 270 at Linda's Speedway on Friday and a 3 hr endurance kart race at New Jersey Motorsports Park - NJMP with my teammates at Formula None Karting Team.

At Linda's I drew the "opposite-of-one" (the highest number possible - argh!) so started P9 in H3. Was able to get to P5 to make the feature where I fell back to P16 before finishing P10. Happy with the overall result but burned a new RR RD12 in the process. Harder tires next time noted and are on order.

At NJMP I was fortunate to have great teammates (Kaya, Ziven, and Chase) that put the team up front early so I could hold the position for the last hour of the race to come in P1.

Thanks to everyone that supports our racing efforts! Track crew, marshals, stewards, mechanics, parents, and friends!

This week is another double with 270 Linda's Friday and the Lights Out series race at OVRP - Oakland Valley Race Park - Hannen Motorsports on Saturday (125cc 2-stroke)

Sorry for the late update. So far the 2026 season has been filled with non-stop racing. On the dirt track we have a record of P3, P12, and a P6 at Linda's Speedway. Solid start, but hoping to achieve more. While in the karting scene we've done 3 enduro events with a record of P6 (Formula Cartak), P3 and a P2 with Formula None Karting Team. As well as a trip to K1 Circuit for the K1 US National Championship. There was a lot of talented drivers out there reaching almost 200 entries of competition. We still have many more events coming up so stay tuned in what we have in store! Big thanks to you all for your support!
