A wilderness camp set in the old growth forest of Southeast Alaska providing the opportunity for everyone to experience the awe inspiring power of God.

We have an active board and a good number of volunteers throughout the community who help us with many projects.

It's such a wonderful feeling to be out at camp. Being on the board is a good combination of serving with a Christian organization, being in the wilderness, working outdoors, enjoying the company of other volunteers, and making new friends.

Check us out at our annual meeting on Saturday, December 20 at 10 am at Ḵunéix̱ Hídi Northern Light United Church.

Eagle River United Methodist Camp seeking new members for our Board of Directors

Do you love the camp?

Our mission is to enrich understanding and spirituality through human fellowship and deepen respect for God’s wondrous creation – the natural world around us.

Come join us for a wonderful community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Eagle River United Methodist Camp on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025. Bring a dish to share if you can. There will be plenty of delicious food! Enjoy a roaring fire, play games with friends, go for a walk at the camp or a walk to the beach, maybe even see whales! The lodge will be open by 10 a.m. and we’ll start serving Thanksgiving Dinner about 1:30 p.m. The camp is located at 27500 Glacier Highway, about Mile 28, just before Eagle Beach State Park.
