What a fun crowd last night! We had a great time performing this piece with the great dancers of the TMHS dance team, TAFY The Arts For Youth Fusion Dance Company and Juneau Jumpers, Inc! Our final show of the season will be coming up July 12th. Stay tuned!

Juneau Jumpers has been in existence since 1985. We are both a competition and performance rope skipp In 1993, the Juneau Jumpers Foundation, Inc.

Although Juneau Jumpers is a private, non-profit organization independent of the Juneau School District, the district recognizes it as a positive youth program, and Glacier Valley Elementary School provides gym space to the team. Juneau Jumpers is grateful for Glacier Valley’s sponsorship and expects all members to promote a respectful and friendly relationship with the staff of Glacier Valley Sch

JUNEAU JUMPERS, INC would like to give a shout out and big THANK YOU to three businesses that have supported us over the past year. Using masks, social distancing, and the CDC’s COVID mitigation recommendations, the Jumpers were successful in safely navigating the past season.
Mendenhall Mall donated practice space to the Jumpers so they could practice safely.
Juneau Self Storage has donated a storage unit for our equipment and supplies.
Sports Unlimited (Southeast Alaska Gymnastics Academy) made a generous cash donation that helped us buy mats and other equipment to make our practice space safer and more versatile.

Our program is also partially funded by the citizens of Juneau through sales tax revenue.
But without the direct support of these local businesses, Juneau Jumpers would not have had a season this past year. We are extremely grateful to them and thankful to live in a community that supports its young athletes so well.

This is only the second time the Jumpers have performed their new routine in public. Runaway was choreographed by Garrett and Kelsey during the pandemic to the song Runaway Baby by Bruno Mars.

The Jumpers put in some time this morning cleaning up around Mendenhall Mall. The Mall has generously donated practice space to the Jumpers this past year.

After a 7-month hiatus due to COVID-19, the Juneau Jumpers are back!
The first practice in our shiny new space (Thank you, Mendenhall Mall!) was fun and noisy and these kids still have mad skillz! They are already working on learning routines for the end-of-the-pandemic show, whenever that is, and when the next competition is held, they will be ready.

They are so sad they won't get to do a show anytime soon! But they want do one when they can, and also take jump rope on the road.
The American Jump Rope National Competition for this year was cancelled.😕
But if you want to support the Jumpers, the annual raffle is going on now. Tickets are $10 and the grand prize is 2 Alaska Airlines tickets.
Contact a Jumper family and get in on the raffle action! Most can sell online with Venmo, PayPal or similar and text you a photo of your tickets.
