TMMS Falcons Basketball

The Thunder Mountain Middle School boys and girls teams will take on Schoenbar Middle School (Ketchikan) starting at 11:30am Saturday, Nov. 1. Swing by for a full day of basketball action! Game Schedules are as follows:

12:40pm -- TM Girls B vs SMS Girls B
1:50pm -- TM Boys A vs SMS Boys A
3:00pm -- TM Girls A vs SMS Girls A
4:10pm -- TM Boys B vs SMS Boys B

6:30pm -- TM Boys A vs SMS Boys A
7:40pm -- TM Girls A vs SMS Girls A

Two middle school open gyms remaining: Thursday, Oct. 2 (7-9pm) and Saturday, Oct. 4 (8-10am). Future OGs will be posted once tryouts are over.

Thunder Mountain Middle School basketball season is almost here!

Signups are ongoing with parent information being handed out at open gyms and again on Friday, Oct. 3 during lunch in the TMMS commons.

Who: 7th and 8th grade boys enrolled in the Juneau School District.
What to bring: Athletic shoes and attire suitable for basketball, and a water bottle
When: Oct. 6–9 from 3:30–4:30 p.m.
Where: TMMS Main Gym
Requirements: All students participating in tryouts must have a Big Teams account (see photo instructions) and current physical on file prior to being allowed on the court.

Students may take the activities bus home at 4:30 p.m. Attendance will be taken daily and if a participant must miss one or more days they should notify the coaching staff prior. Team selection will be announced at the end of the week.

MMS basketball open gyms are back starting Thursday, Aug 14. All 7th and 8th grade boys and girls are welcome. Schedule through September:
7-9pm Mondays
7-9pm Thursdays
8-10am Saturdays

June basketball open gyms will be 9-11am each Saturday in the Aux gym. Boys and girls grades 5-8 welcome!

Correction: no open gym tonight. Next open gym is Saturday, May 31 9-11am in Aux Gym.

TMMS open gym (boys/girls grades 5-8) tentatively scheduled from 7-9pm Friday, April 25. Open gym may be cancelled if weather forces certain Track & Field events to move indoors. Stay tuned for updates.
