Here’s a quick look at what’s coming up this winter! Registration for Rookie Jr. Jazz (Itty Bitty)+ Jr. Jazz opens next month!

Practices & games begin Tuesday, January 5

• Jr. Jazz | 3rd–9th Grade Boys & Girls
Practices begin Wednesday, December 23
Games begin Saturday, January 9

Something new is coming to South Summit Girls Basketball!

We’re excited to introduce the first year of the South Summit Girls Basketball Club, created for girls in 4th–8th grade who want more opportunities to learn, play, and grow their game.

This new program is all about building skills, confidence, teamwork, and a love for basketball while creating a stronger pathway for the future of Wildcat Girls Basketball.

Season is Nov-Dec.

Remembering Lea McDill

Our Summit Recreation family is saddened by the passing of Lea McDill this last month. Lea was a beloved water aerobics instructor and a special part of the community that has grown around our pool. Her energy, friendship, and personality touched so many participants and fellow instructors over the years.

Recently, a group of Lea’s water aerobics participants and instructors gathered together to celebrate her life, share memories, and remember the many good times they had with her. It was a wonderful reminder of the friendships and connections she created along the way.

Lea will be deeply missed, but the memories, laughter, and friendships she leaves behind will continue to be a part of our water aerobics family.

A Celebration of Life for Lea will be held October 18.
