Firefighters devote their lives to safeguarding human life and property, often exemplifying unwavering dedication through extensive volunteer work or selfless years of service. In every instance, they risk the ultimate sacrifice of their own lives. International Firefighters’ Day (IFFD) presents an opportunity for the global community to acknowledge and pay tribute to the sacrifices made by firefighters to ensure the safety and well-being of their communities and the environment. This day also serves as a platform to express gratitude to current and past firefighters for their invaluable contributions. The Box Lacrosse League proudly stands in solidarity with and supports our brave firefighters through our Harvesting Our Heroes program.
