Pros are going back to college. 18 year olds will be competing against experienced pros 25+ years old. Here’s what that means…

1. You have to get STRONG to even have a chance of being recruited out of high school. College coaches can’t afford to waste a scholarship on someone who will take 2-3 years to develop physically. If you want to play D1 you have to be physically ready to battle with grown men.

2. Hold back year, post grad year and juco route will be more popular than ever. Late bloomers shouldn’t be opposed to these options.

3. You have to double down on your basketball IQ NOW. 25 year old experienced hoopers process the game at a whole different speed. If you enter college at 18-19 years old and your coach has to teach you basic basketball concepts you’ll never see the floor. The IQ gap will be too large to overcome.
