Xavier Worthy says there’s a different mindset in the Chiefs’ receiver room this season.

And it starts with blocking for Kenneth Walker.

Worthy compared it to playing with Bijan Robinson in college, saying, “This feels like blocking for Bijan right now.”

And the message in the receiver room is simple: you don’t block, you don’t get the rock.

Worthy says the receivers have really taken that mentality to heart, and they want to be great at it.

But it’s not just about blocking.

Worthy says the entire Chiefs team is locked in.

He admitted that last year “wasn’t truly us,” and said everyone spent the offseason working hard.

Then training camp came, and according to Worthy, it was one hell of a training camp.

So this season, the Chiefs aren’t just trying to play better.

They’re trying to show that last year wasn’t who they really are.

Kenneth Walker Fined $8,357 by NFL

Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker III has been fined $8,357 by the NFL for throwing the football into the stands after scoring against the Broncos.

Walker scored two touchdowns in the Chiefs’ 31–10 win over Denver. After one of his touchdowns, he threw the football to a fan in the stands.

Despite the fine, Walker said the moment was worth it:

“It cost me an $8K fine… but this man’s memory is priceless.”

A fine, but definitely a memory that fan won’t forget.
