Darryn Peterson's offense reminds me of NBA Devin Booker and defense of Dwayne Wade.

Darryn Peterson is head and shoulders above who you think should be #2 in the draft.
Respectfully.

From system 1B to system 1A...
The only team worse for Kuminga's pride but better for his career than the Warriors, is the Miami Heat.
Pat Riley and the Miami Heat's approach to getting and staying in shape will be a significant culture shock, especially with a mid-season trade. Expect more DNPs to finish the year but it would eventually turn him into a transition nightmare for defenses as he gets acclimated to their culture.
Matthew Stafford should have gotten out of Detroit a long time ago. Some players just deserve a bigger stage.
Next up... Josh Allen to the Cowboys!

KD is the perfect superstar for the Rockets! But his points don't tell the full story.
We all know Kevin Durant is one of the greatest scorers to ever touch a basketball. But at this stage of his career in Houston, his most important stats aren't his points, it’s his efficiency and defensive effort.
Look at the tape from last night:
- 65% FG: Is surgical scoring
- 6 defensive boards & a block (leading by example on the glass and at the rim)
The beauty of KD right now? He can lead a team in scoring without dominating the ball. By staying hyper-efficient, he’s creating a masterclass in spacing without usage. This allows Amen Thompson and Alperen Sengun the room they need to make mistakes, grow, and develop into the stars we know they can be.
KD isn't just a scorer anymore; he’s the perfect ceiling-raiser while the Rockets’ youth mature and develop throughout the season .
Kevin Durant records back-to-back 30 point games as Houston secures their third win in a row! 🚀
Jabari Smith Jr.: 21 PTS, 10 REB, 3 3PM
Amen Thompson: 20 PTS, 8 REB, 7 AST

The tape tells a different story on Jeremiah Love. 🎥
I spent the morning watching his highlights, and while the production is there, I have some major concerns about his NFL projection, specifically for the Chiefs.
1. The "Arm Tackle" Test:
When you watch the truly elite backs, Bijan Robinson, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Saquon Barkley they pop off the screen because they manufacture yards. In Love’s tape, I see too many instances where he isn’t breaking through initial arm tackles or making that first defender miss. In the NFL, those windows are tight. If you can't create when the play breaks down, you won't survive as a RB1.
2. The O-Line Factor
We have to acknowledge the context. Love is running behind a wall. On a huge chunk of his highlight runs, he wasn't even touched until he was 5+ yards downfield. It’s a lot easier to look like a first-rounder when you aren't forced to make a cut until you’re already at the second level.
3. Ball Don't Lie:
Am tripping, or are we over-hyping the speed and ignoring the contact balance?
He’s a solid player, but let’s be careful with the Top-10 First Round label. High-end production behind a great O-line doesn't always equal a high-end NFL starter.
Emotion argues.

Ball Don't Lie.
When greatness requires perfect coaching and perfect roster construction, it's worth asking whether we're praising the player... or the system that made it possible.
You know who didn't require everything to be perfect?
Loyalty means supporting your team when they lose.
Excuses mean pretending a loss didn't mean much.
The playoffs will feel quieter this year.
Not because the games won't be good but because the media can't default to Patrick Mahomes in every comparison conversation.
Looks like they'll have to actually talk football.
