Happy ! This week, we're highlighting one of our volunteers from last summer and the 2025 Rookie of the Year, Sarah!

"Last summer I volunteered for Y-Knot Adaptive Sailing program...I slowly learned how to rig the sailboats and build confidence with my new skills. I met all sorts of people and at the end of the summer, I left feeling part of an inclusive community while enjoying the beauty of Lake George!"

We're looking for volunteers for Summer 2026! Dates for 2026 Sailing Sundays will be posted to our website soon. Stay tuned by checking us out online at https://pulse.ly/ufjacegmrk.

⛵ Join us September 6 - 7, 2025, for our annual 2-day regatta event! Come for the racing, stay for the fellowship and fun in a beautiful location!

🎉 We will also be hosting our annual “Sailabration” on the evening of September 6th! This banquet and silent auction will celebrate the regatta and the full summer sailing season, while also raising funds to continue offering sailing days free of charge.

🌊 Those not sailing or volunteering in the regatta can register as a “Banquet Guest” and are encouraged to come early to watch the racing happening on the Lake before the dinner event! The banquet is included for any registered sailors and volunteers attending the full regatta.

Pointe Claire Yacht Club, Quebec, Canada, will host this year's Mobility Cup Regatta, August 25-29, on Lac St. Louis in Montreal. Each year, the Cup rotates back and forth between the coasts, which means this year it's closer than ever to home for New York and Vermont sailors. Y-Knot Sailing regular Eric Rose has reserved a Martin 16 in the Gold Fleet, and as of today boats are still available to charter in the Silver Fleet. Registration closes August 15. More information is at https://mobilitycup.com/en/.
