Aim the be the greatest hitter you can be. Aim to go green zone and pick a power gap on your pull side to rip a good pitch to. Aim small, miss small - be hyper specific with where you want the ball to land and how you want it to travel there. To pull the ball with great power and consistency, pick your center pull side outfield gap to hit outside pitches to, and pull those inside pitches toward the line gap. The harder you attack the pitch and turn on it, the harder you will hit the ball and the more bases you will will attain. Aim to win and

Lindsay is the first and only female hitting coach in Atlantic Professional Baseball League history and hitting coach for the league leading Home Run hitting team, the Kentucky Wild Health Genomes. Her 20 years coaching experience and green zone hitting theory led to the opportunity to work with Louisville Slugger Hitting Science Center where her theory has been tested using Rapsodo to collect data on exit angles, exit velocity, distance and pitch location versus various hitting approaches. The data spoke volumes on where a hitter has the most power and consistency in regards to aiming the ball to open gaps and over the fence. Lindsay has been collecting in-game data by color coding the hits the Genomes attempt and acquire throughout each game. The Genomes are hitting a whopping .600+ more points on their batting average when they pull the ball versus when they attempt to hit the ball where the pitcher pitches it or go up the middle. How would you swing if you could hit even close to .600? Would you try to swing “the right way” or would you like to swing the strongest, most powerful and accurate way? Once you realize there is no right way, and that there is only on-time and late, you will hopefully choose a power gap to be on-time for.
