I am so thrilled and thankful to have hosted yet another great week of Heart to Hoof camp at Blackwater! This family of five requested an exclusive week for their family and oh the amazing memories that were made! These experiences will last a lifetime and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it! Had to share one of my favorite journal entries from Heart to Hoof camp last week! 😍 This sweet 8 yr. old camper had minimal horse experience and made it clear on the first day he only wanted to go slow, which was fine with me and especially fine with Red! 🤣👍 But he evolved his horsemanship skills more and more each day, falling in love with the correct way to trot, ride ba****ck, ride over obstacles, etc! By Friday he was hooked and really wanted to buy my handsome Redford. I told him Red would cost infinity times infinity but for now we could share. 🥰❤️💕

Love how beautifully diverse my students and horses are! It is truly a privilege to do what I do 😊 P.s. Yes, he was supposed to stride over that ground pole and then do a very low jump but he's an overachiever, don't hate lol 😆
