Some nights, the game doesn’t end at the final out.

Late one night last week, a message came in — a catcher’s web had blown out during a playoff game, and the Rivera family was scrambling for a solution. No hesitation, no waiting around. They drove straight from the field, still in the adrenaline of postseason baseball, and put that glove in our hands.

Twelve hours later, that mitt’s web was re‑laced and ready to get back behind the plate.

This is what we pride ourselves on at Katy Glove Works: being there when our customers need us most, whether it’s a midnight emergency or a quick turnaround to keep a season alive.

To the Rivera family — thank you for trusting us with your son’s gear and his game.

Catch with Confidence.

Spring ball ended and the shop exploded — summer‑ball tune‑ups, postseason refreshes, you name it. The leather hasn’t stopped moving.

Thank you to the Miller and Mata families for trusting us with your son’s gloves.

PSA for all ball players: Condition your glove once a year minimum. Your leather will thank you later.

Catch with Confidence.

Some gloves just need a little CPR to survive the weekend… 😅⚾️

Richard brought his son’s gamer to Katy Glove Works needing an emergency web repair. We got it laced back together with some fresh Indian Tan and sent it right back into action like a reliever jogging in from the bullpen with no warmup pitches. 🔥

After surviving the weekend battle, the glove came back to us during the off weekend for the full treatment — complete relace and ready for many more innings ahead.

Big thanks to the Miller family for trusting us with your glove repairs and keeping us part of your baseball journey! 🙌⚾️

A quick condition and a little palm adhesive were all it took to wake this leather back up — brought the life, the shape, and the feel right back where it belongs. Then the new maroon laces stepped in and completely changed the vibe. This glove went from tired to Texas Twelve ready in no time.

Huge thanks to the Cribbs family for trusting us with this generational beauty. Honored to keep it game‑worthy for the next chapter.

🔥 I’ve never seen a glove blush… until now. 🔥

A little Ball Players Balm brought this beauty back to life — gave it that rosy red glow again like it remembered its first day on the field. Once the leather woke up, we dressed it back up with fresh black laces to sharpen every line and edge.

This unique Japanese‑style lacing pattern made for an awesome first SSK experience for me.

Another glove restored. Another story extended.

What started as a classic, original look is now rocking a modern and bold new style with fresh Carolina Blue and Red laces. The intricate modified trapeze web really steals the show, giving the glove a completely refreshed personality while keeping its original character.

Sometimes a relace doesn’t just restore a glove — it transforms it.

Huge thanks to the McKeevers for trusting us with the upgrade. Enjoy the new look and the fresh pop! ⚾️🔥

Some gloves just need a little life breathed back into them.

This classic 6-finger trapeze came in needing some serious spring put back into the web. Years of catches had left the laces tired and the web loose, so it was time for a full restore.

Fresh Havana Tan laces brought the structure back and Ball Players Balm gave this glove its pop again. Now it’s ready for what matters most — playing catch with dad. ⚾️

These two classics came into Katy Glove Works needing a little love, so we stripped out the tired laces and gave them a fresh set of black leather throughout. Nothing flashy—just the kind of tune-up that brings life back to a glove that’s already seen a lot of baseball.

Gloves like these carry stories: backyard catch, long practices, big plays, and seasons that turn into memories. Our hope is that with their new laces, both of these gamers are ready to keep going strong and maybe even last another generation.

Thanks for trusting Katy Glove Works to keep these old stand-bys in the game. ⚾️

⚾️🔥 Katy Glove Works – Another One Turned Around! 🔥⚾️

Teddy’s Nikona came in ready for a fresh look… swapped out the Baby Blue for some Orange and White to match those katybombers colors 🔥

Clean black base. Bright orange pop. Crisp white contrast.

It’s always fun taking a solid glove and giving it a whole new vibe. This one stands out and is ready to go make plays.

tjrincon44 — we appreciate the trust! Have a great season!💪⚾️

This Rawlings Wingtip Heart of the Hide came in green and dark brown and, I’m not gonna lie… it was STIFF 😤
But that’s how you know it’s about to be special.

Cason was looking for a traditional wear, finger out, with a thumb flare for some middle infield play and that’s exactly how it went out the door—smooth, responsive, and ready to work. Now it’s time to put it to use taking tons of ground balls and turning double plays all season long 🔥

Huge thank you to Cason and his family for trusting me with this glove. I truly appreciate the support and look forward to seeing y’all again soon. Have a great year, Cason! ⚾️
