We are so thankful for this opportunity. Donations raised last year helped to build our new outdoor arena. Sept 18th through the 22nd donations will go towards a much needed ramp and hoist so that we can safely get our wheelchair dependent clients mounted for their lesson. Please come have some fun and help raise money for our program.

It’s been quiet here lately. Sept 1st we laid two program horses to rest and the hush that has been hanging over the barn, the horses and the volunteers has been haunting and heartbreaking. The same day that decision was made I received a call from Horses with Hope about a mini mule that had been saved by Save your Ass long ear reacue in February. Amos was ready for his forever home and Freedom Reins had been waiting. Today Tim and I made the drive to Maine in the pouring rain to get him. It is unfair to expect Amos to help with this burden, grief takes time. We promise to give him the best home, so much attention and he will never have to leave. He will spend the next few months learning the routine and meeting all the people and just by being here he is going to bring in the love,laughter and caring that is always here back into the forefront. The quiet will now be replaced by the amazing noise that he makes. Welcome home Amos
