Kenosha Area Soccer League - KASL

Congratulations to our 25/26 Coaches of the Year!! These coaches exemplify KASL values on and off the field. Their commitment to their teams, passion for the game, and the example they set for their players is truly admirable.

⚽️ All-Girls Coach of the Year:
Melissa Retzlaff (1st/2nd grade Catholic Financial Life) has coached this group since they were 3 years old, and is head coach of a kindergarten coed team also! She is a true role model for her players, always smiling and showing respect for opposing coaches and players and referees.

⚽️ Coed Youngsters Coach of the Year:
Pablo Martini (4K Barons) has coached this team for 2 years and is adored by his players. His soccer knowledge runs deep, and it is very apparent when watching his young team play. Pablo is a pleasure to have on the KASL coaching staff.

⚽️ Coed Core Coach of the Year:
Matt Dahl (1st grade SurfaceX) has coached his team since they were preschoolers. He has a great demeanor on and off the field and has done an incredible job of developing his players over the years. He is also very generous with his time, assisting a second KASL team.

⚽️ Rookie of the Year:
Ken Stoner (3rd/4th grade Arvato) is wrapping up his first full season as head coach for KASL. He volunteered to coach when his child’s team did not have one and has done an exemplary job. KASL could not operate without dedicated parent volunteers, and we are so grateful to Ken for stepping up!

KASL Annual Biergarten event THIS SATURDAY, 5/16! Don't miss this super fun, family-friendly event!

Stop by the pavilion at Anderson park in between soccer games this Saturday to enjoy a cold beverage (served 10-3) and delicious eats from our food trucks. There will be complimentary face painting and balloon animals under the pavilion for the kids from 10-2.

What a great 3rd practice for our 4K Catholic Financial Life team. One very large worm was found in between muddy drills. The kids and coaches had a blast!
