St Josephs 3 Kerman 2
Today just wasn’t our day. When you look back and replay what happened, there are so many things that can change an outcome of a game. The Lions outhit the Kinignts 8-3 but just couldn’t find a way to get the hit when they really needed it. From plays we have seen made 99 times out of a hundred. To a ball crushed by Senior Giovanni Groppetti that hits the top of the fence in the bottom of the 7th and comes back into the field of play. The ball just didn’t want to go our way. This is why what these boys did for 28 games was so special. This game will make you crazy, give you the best feeling, and break your heart just as fast. One thing I will always be proud of, is our boys won and lost with pride this year. They took the field every game with the same mindset and never gave in. We love these kids as our own, and we wish we had more baseball to go. Thank you to everyone who supported us this year. It was a special ride.

It’s GAMEDAY! The Lions host the Knights of St. Joseph today in the opening round of the Division II playoffs. We look forward to seeing you all there at 4:30 to watch some great baseball! GO LIONS!
