⭐️ Atvara Yogi Spotlight: Sherry ⭐️
Sherry D. Ennis is sunshine in human form! She is bright and cheery and brings an absolutely incredible energy to the studio. I LOVE seeing her walk through our door.
Here’s a little more about her yoga journey and Atvara experience:
🌿First Atvara Moment: 2025.
One of my favorite instructors, Casia, introduced me to hot yoga. She encouraged me to try a heated class and challenged those of us who wanted to become more proficient in yoga to practice more than once a week.
The first time I stepped into the heated studio, a wave of enveloping warmth met me, carrying the clean, earthy scent of the space and the quiet hum of anticipation.
As the class unfolded, sweat gathered on my skin, my breath deepened, and the steady rhythm of movement helped me feel both grounded and energized.
From the moment I walked into Atvara, I was captivated not only by the warmth, vibrant energy, and genuine sense of community but also by the incredible space itself. I felt immediately at home, and I knew I had found my yoga home.
🌿 Favorite Classes
My favorite classes are a mix of flow and yin. Together, they give me the best of both worlds: the vibrant momentum of movement and the peaceful depth of stillness. Sunrise Flow is also a favorite.
🌿Favorite Poses
My favorite yoga poses are legs up the wall with a block, monkey pose, and pigeon pose. Legs up the wall helps me relax and reset, while monkey pose challenges my flexibility and patience.
Pigeon pose allows me to slow down, breathe deeply, and release tension in my hips.
🌿 Favorite Part of Atvara
My favorite part of Atvara is its structure and organization. The classes are thoughtfully planned, the schedule offers great, consistent variety, and everything runs smoothly, allowing me to focus fully on my practice.
Sherry, you are a blessing to Atvara and everyone you meet. Can’t wait to practice with you soon! 💚
