Congratulations to the Edwards family for punching their ticket to the 2026 AAU Junior Olympic Games in Des Moines, Iowa!

🥉 Brandon Edwards – 3rd Place, Shot Put & Discus
💪 Jamie Edwards – 6th Place, Shot Put

The AAU Junior Olympics is one of the biggest events in youth track & field, bringing together qualifying athletes from across the United States. This is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the hard work these kids have put in all season.

Good luck at the Junior Olympics at the end of July! Texas will be well represented. 💙❤️

🥇 Charlotte Edwards brought home GOLD in the Shot Put and will be headed to Regionals!

🥈 Brandon Edwards had an incredible weekend, earning 2nd place in BOTH the Shot Put and Discus.

🏃‍♂️ Micah Harrison qualified in the 100m, 200m, and 400m.

💪 Jamie Edwards qualified and placed 4th in the Shot Put .

We’re extremely proud of all their hard work, dedication, and the way they represented our team. Now it’s time for the next challenge.

🏅Big shoutout to Brandon Edwards for placing 2nd in the Discus today at the AAU District Meet in Van Ormy! Proud of the hard work he’s put in to get here.

He’ll be back tomorrow competing in the Shot Put, so let’s wish him the best of luck as he goes after another great performance.

Parents, please note that today’s track meet will be at Hal Peterson Middle School, NOT Tivy Stadium.

📝 Registration: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

This is a friendly reminder that TODAY is the final day to register for the AAU District Meet.

⏰ Registration closes at 11:00 PM tonight, and no late registrations will be accepted.

If your athlete plans to compete, please make sure you complete their registration before the deadline so they can participate.

Also, there will be no practice today since we will be participating in the final Kerrville track meet tomorrow at Hal Peterson Middle School. We want everyone rested and ready to compete.

Please don’t wait until the last minute to register, as the system will automatically close at 11:00 PM tonight.

📢 ROADRUNNERS PARENTS UPDATE 📢

We have a busy week ahead!

First up is the Kerrville meet tomorrow evening at Tivy Stadium. Walk-up registration will be open from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM, with the meet officially beginning at 6:30 PM.

One of the great things about these summer meets is that athletes can run as many events as they want, giving them plenty of opportunities to compete, gain experience, and have fun. This will be a great chance for our athletes to showcase all the hard work they’ve been putting in at practice. I’m excited to see them compete and I’m confident we’ll be bringing home plenty of first-place ribbons this week!

Due to the meet tomorrow, there will be NO PRACTICE this evening. I want the kids to be 100% rested, recovered, and ready to perform their best.

Also, if your athlete plans on competing in the Boerne meet this weekend, registration MUST be completed today. Registration closes tomorrow morning and once it closes, no additional entries will be accepted.

🚨 ROADRUNNERS FAMILIES 🚨

Just a quick update for tomorrow’s meet in Austin! Events will begin early, so please make sure athletes arrive on time and ready to compete. Running events start at 7AM and field events begin at 8AM.

This will be a rolling schedule, so events can move quickly throughout the day. Please stay alert and listen for calls. If your athlete is doing both running and field events, make sure they check in with field officials before their event starts.

🚨 EACH PARENT WILL PICK UP THEIR ATHLETE’S PACKET. 🚨
