My poor little pepper plant has been sadly neglected so I did some pruning and weeding, only to discover my crepe myrtle had made a deposit.

I'll leave the leaves in the bucket as mulch for the winter.

Anyone know what kind of pepper this is? I bought it on a whim and it didn't have a label.

My first tomato. 🍅

Because I am VERY new to gardening, I knew my first harvest would be small. I planted late in the season and probably not in the best spot in the garden, but before the cold snap I managed to harvest this little tomato. It was green with a little bit of red. I read that they should be ripened in the dark (not on the windowsill like we used to think! 🤯) I left it in a box in my pantry for about a week and it's perfect!

Never make your building bigger by tearing down someone else's.

If you haven't tried stoneware, I highly recommend it! Like cast iron, stoneware becomes better with age and use. I picked up this Pampered Chef muffin pan at a thrift store last week for FIVE DOLLARS and it has already reached favored status in my kitchen! I made mini cherry pies for Thanksgiving and they slid out beautifully. Not having much experience with stoneware, I went ahead and sprayed the cups with vegetable oil beforehand. The pies were a hit and it was so easy to clean afterward!

Peter is my favorite disciple. He was brash, impulsive, and a bit of a du***ss at times. He said some pretty thoughtless things and even denied Jesus 3 times within hours after saying that he never would. But he had passion and courage, and HE GOT OUT OF THE BOAT in a freaking storm.
