Tribe Wrestling Club Tribe Wrestling Club is a team that strives to expose the oldest sport in the world to a new generation.

Formerly E3 and apart of the youth program at Dobyns-Bennett but meant for any and all willing to train hard & develop great character. Owner - Aaron Whitley

Coach Ryan believes this is a journey in which the child must be encouraged and fostered to prevent burnout before reaching their ultimate goals. Each child is different and some prosper while wrestling a tournament every weekend while others need more time in between. As every child is different, E3 will cater to those differences so each child can accomplish as much as possible. Coach will help guide you through all the decisions you will face in this sport. On the actual wrestling front, Coach PJ runs a high tempo practice to provide the wrestlers the stamina they need to go the full 6 minute match while giving their all. E3 and Coach Ryan will help equip your child with the proper technique as well as how to execute so your child will have the success they have earned on the mat. He truly looks forward to helping your child become the wrestler they want to be.

Coach Watkins has just finished his last practice for Tribe Wrestling Club. We have been blessed to have Brennan Watkins as our high school club coach. We wish him the best on his future endeavors. Thank you Coach!

At this time we will not hold anymore high school practices until further notice. With the school season starting soon for high school, we will focus on growing our K-8 program.

Tribe Wrestling is now enrolling K-8 and High School wrestlers for off-season training inside the Dobyns-Bennett Wrestling Room.

K-8 Group
Monday & Wednesday
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

High School Group
Tuesday & Thursday
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Formerly E3 Wrestling, Tribe Wrestling is built through quality coaching, a competitive training environment, and a strong foundation in the sport. We practice in the same facility for HS, MS & Elm, there is a major emphasis on growing and developing our elementary wrestlers.

Our program is led by Gavin Armstrong and supported by an outstanding coaching staff. High school practices are currently led by Brennan Watkins, a 2-time All-American and former Dobyns-Bennett standout.

Train where champions are made. Dobyns-Bennett is currently ranked #2 among Tennessee high school wrestling programs.

Whether you’re brand new to wrestling or looking to compete at the next level, Tribe Wrestling has a place for you.

For those that do not know, our club program is going through rebranding into TRIBE. Still in the same great wrestling room (newly remodeled mind you) but looking to transition into a hometown feel and development of Dobyns-Bennett High’s youth program. All are still welcome even outside of the city. Just looking to build the community up into this great sport.
