KCS Inclusive Athletics KCS Inclusive Athletic Program (Sparkle Squad, Tribe Games, Unified Teams, & SOTN Teams)

The Kingsport City Schools SPED (Special Education) Athletics department was established in 2023. The purpose of the department is to include all KCS enrolled Pre-K - 12th Grade +* students with disabilities in athletic events. Within the SPED Athletics department you will find four areas of competition. Those four areas include, Sparkle Squad, Tribe Games, Unified Sports (TSSAA Sponsored), and Special Olympics.

*12th Grade + (up to 22 years of age prior to receiving a diploma).

Our USA Nationals team attended the Team Tennessee training camp in Nashville this weekend. What an experience! We met our teammates from Valor HS, and we quickly became a family. Our team is committed to training hard and representing our state to the best of our abilities in June!
