Follow my Fitness journey, learn some macro friendly recipes and workouts! I have a passion for fitness and health and love to share that with others!

I follow flexible dieting or IIFYM and it has changed my life. No more restrictive eating, yo yo dieting or binges. I earned my IFPA Figure Pro card April 25th at the Natural Pittsburgh and competed a week later at the Big East Natural earning my IFPA Physique pro card. I wanted to share my journey, inspire others and offer tips and tricks that helped me.

Cauliflower mash! Taste just like mashed potatoes! Boil cauliflower heads for about 8 minutes (until soft). Strain water and put the cauliflower in a food processor. I added garlic and parmesan cheese and a splash of skim milk. Ground it in the food processor until mashed potato consistency!! 213grams (pictured) is 54 cals!!

Current situation: been maintaining weight for a while now. Tracking macros & training. I don't have abs or perfect firm glutes, I even have cellulite. BUT despite these flaws I am getting healthier. I was diagnosed with amenorrhea but all my blood work is spot on. Getting stronger physically and mentally. Sad I won't be stepping on stage this season but for me health is the main priority.

Having a goal is always important. Competing in fitness competitions has been my goal for a long time (since 2010 to be exact). This will be the first Fall season in 4 years I won't be competing in. I love being on stage and I love the sport however my body needed a break. Not only did my body need a break but I had to learn to love my body when I wasn't 8% body fat. I decided I wanted to try out powerlifting. It is completely different training than I'm used to but I have to admit, it's pretty fun! Feeling strong physically & mentally is a great thing to feel! Here's to goals, lifting heavy things & loving yourself! Happy Friday!!

Healthy chips! So good with salsa!
Bought a pack of fit & active flat breads. 1 flat bread is 100 calories, 2.5g fat, 17g carbs and 9g protein!
-pre heat oven 350 degrees
-Place flat bread on a baking pan
-spray with olive oil cooking spray
-sprinkle on spices of your choice! I used sea salt and pepper
bake until flat bread is hard
let cook and break into squares!

Ben and I had these with our chicken tacos the other night!
TRY IT! :)
