River access and stocking update!

For those with mobility issues, or anyone simply looking for easier access to the river, there is a sidewalk with some benches along the river that can be accessed by a staircase on River Road near the Edgewater Hotel.
The upstream half of the sidewalk sits alongside a popular, well-stocked fishing hole, making it a great option for anglers looking for convenient access to some productive water.
During August and September we will continue to stock 200 pounds per week, and will resume heavier stocking once cooler water temperatures bring better fishing conditions.
The fish this week were an average of 12.75” in length weighing approximately 1 pound each.
