🏁 5TH PLACE IN THE SPRS NATIONAL RACE SERIES! 🏆

What an incredible experience for Colton Gillinger and the entire Shake N’ Bake Driving Team! Finishing 5th overall in the SPRS National Series is something we’re extremely proud of.

A HUGE thank you to Shawn O'Neal for everything he does to keep this team race-ready. There have definitely been some bumps, bruises, late nights, and repairs along the way, but Colton has been right there turning wrenches alongside Shawn and Jim Stohr to get that #19 back on the track and ready for the next race.

We also couldn’t do this without our main team sponsor, SIGMA Waterworks. Their continued support has helped take Shake N’ Bake Racing across multiple states this season, and we’re incredibly thankful to have them behind our team.

🏁 RACE DAY RECAP — WHAT A NIGHT FOR SHAKE N’ BAKE! 🏁

Tonight had a little bit of EVERYTHING — wins, trophies, hard racing, a sketchy start and one heck of a comeback! 🔥

🏆 ECO STOCK — #88 TROY COVIN
Double Feature night for Troy! He brought home 4th in the first feature, then came back for the Main Feature and absolutely DOMINATED, taking 1ST PLACE! 🏁🥇

🏆 LEGACY — #19 COLTON GILLINGER
With a PACKED Legacy field tonight, Colton fought his way from 6th to 3rd! He also wrapped up the SPRS Traveling Racing Series 5th overall, meaning he walked away from the Legacy race with TWO TROPHIES! 🏆🏆 Huge thank you to our SPRS Sponsors!

🔥 CROWN VIC — COLTON & PAPA JIM
Jim decided it was time to try out the new H2O car, which meant handing the Buford T. Justice car over to Colton.

And things got interesting FAST. 😳

On the first lap, Colton nearly wrecked and somehow managed to save it with NO caution thrown — leaving him almost half a track behind the leader.

From there, it was GAME ON.

Colton battled his way ALL THE WAY BACK to 3rd place, crossing the finish line just ahead of Papa Jim! 💪🏁

A WIN, multiple trophies, a huge comeback and some good ol’ family competition — we’d say that was a pretty dang good night for Shake N’ Bake Driving Team! 🏁🔥

🏁 RACE DAY RECAP — WELL… THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY. 😂🏁

Some race nights you bring home trophies.
Some race nights you bring home stories.
Apparently we decided to bring home BOTH… plus an ambulance bill. 🤦‍♀️😂

🏎️ LEGACY — COLTON GILLINGER #19
Practice started with the #19 deciding it had some issues it wanted to discuss. Luckily, the crew figured them out quickly, got everything fixed, and had Colton ready for the main.

The car apparently wasn’t finished being dramatic.

Colton’s night ended in Turn 4 with a hard hit into the wall back first. With some lower-back pain, nobody was taking chances, so Colton earned a new racing achievement we weren’t exactly looking for:

🚑 FIRST-EVER AMBULANCE RIDE — UNLOCKED.

Off to the ER for precautionary checks. Walked away with a sprained back.

All jokes aside, a HUGE thank you to the track safety crew and staff. They were on it immediately and took great care of him. That’s something we’re incredibly thankful for. ❤️ Thank you to everyone who reached out to check on him. It is truly appreciated!

🏎️ ECO-STOCK — TROY COVIN #88
Troy had a hard-fought race all night and then came the final corner…

We’re still not entirely sure what happened. 😂

There were cars. There was racing. There was an “interesting sequence of events.” And when everything sorted itself out, TROY FINISHED 3RD! 🥉

Sometimes you don’t ask questions. You just take the podium. 😂

🏎️ CROWN VIC — JIM STOHR #77
Jim battled it out through an entire NO-CAUTION RACE and finished 3RD! 🥉

No yellows. No time to regroup. Just hold on and GO.

🏎️ GUEST DRIVER — KYLE KEY
Meanwhile, Kyle Key decided his first night behind the wheel of the NEW SIGMA Crown Vic would be a good time to show us he might actually know what he’s doing. 😂

FIRST RACE. FIRST FINISH. 4TH PLACE! 🏁

We may have created a monster.

🇺🇸 There’s something special about a night at the racetrack. 🏁

Before the engines roar and the green flag waves, there’s a moment when everything gets quiet.

We bow our heads in prayer. 🙏
We stand together for our National Anthem. 🇺🇸
We honor our veterans, first responders, and those who have served and sacrificed before us.

And this weekend, we take an extra moment to remember September 11, 2001 — the lives that were lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, the families forever changed, and the unity our country showed in the days that followed.

At the racetrack, patriotism isn’t about politics. It’s about gratitude, remembrance, community, and respect for the freedoms we share.

For a few minutes, competitors and fans stand together as Americans.

Then the engines fire. 🏁🇺🇸
