Save Juanita Beach Park

lready has one of the lowest ratings for traffic flow. The narrow two-lane roads would make the traffic even worse. This area already has 600 new apartments at the Juanita Village which was not built with adequate parking. HISTORY: There is a very rich history here from the Duwamish tribe to the Forbes developing a water park resort about a century ago. The historic Forbes house still stands today, but is the last vestige of the Forbes Legacy. ARC at JBP would have many negative impacts to this highly dense two-lane road area. The Parks Department for the City of Kirkland has been working for years to build ARC and JBP is currently the "favored" site. Please "Like" this page, add our comments and spread the word. The other location, North Kirkland Community Center has 700 petition signatures for ARC at JBP. JBP has only 250 petition signatures to save the park.
