-All equipment is disinfected and wiped down between each class
-Great community of responsible clients that have been advised to stay out of the gym if they are experiencing even minor symptoms
-Flexible schedule, operating over 45 hours a week.

Did you know?
Over 90% of clients at FunXional Four Fitness have joint pain/mobility issues when they start on day 1. Our approach is to first work on mobility and correct any posture issues before progressing onto regular movements.
The common misconception is that you need to be in good shape and have experience in order to work with a trainer. Most times that is not the case!!

FunXional Four Fitness is a Personal Training facility located in Kirkwood, MO. We specialize in both group and 1-on-1 training utilizing functional movements to correct body mechanics while also helping clients reach goals in terms of fat loss and changing overall body aesthetics.
The 4 main components that our workouts look to improve are:
-CORE DEVELOPMENT: Learning to properly engage your core muscles in every movement in order to strengthen the abdomen and posterior chain muscles that are often compromised as we age.
-METABOLIC CONDITIONING: Utilizing the proper fast twitch conditioning techniques used to train modern day athletes, in order to BURN FAT at optimal levels.
-FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH: Incorporating raw strength movements such as the Squat, Deadlift, Bench Press, and Overhead Press in order to gain strength rapidly. Many variations of these strength movements are done to hit the proper muscle groups from different angles.
-MOBILITY/FLEXIBILITY: Using bodyweight/resistance movements throughout the workouts that elongate the muscles and increase overall flexibility. Teaching each client how to properly stretch and mobilize the muscles and joints inside and ouside of the gym to prevent injuries.
While these 4 components are the main focus of what we look to improve, their are many other benefits to our system that come along with the consistency and hard work put in by each client.
Gym is owned and managed by a former NCAA student-athlete and Strength & Conditioning Coach with 16+ years of overall experience.
