Alright y’all! Trying something new to lose weight since KiKi up and left me here in N.M. anywho.... Had a rocky start then went out of town and didn’t stick to my “plan”. Got back on track last week...had some minor speed bumps BUT today I got ready for work and out on a pair of pants that have been snug but comfortable. All freaking morning I’ve been pulling my pants up! *insert happy dance*
😂😂😂😂.
Kids eating stuffed crust pizza. God knows my flesh wanted to jump in with them and eat some pizza. My wife saw I was lusting for pizza and clowned me talmbout, "What's for dinner? Eggs?" So I made some chicken broccoli Alfredo (no pasta tho). Tell me why she tryna eat off my plate? Lol!

4. Get a checkup.. Are you diabetic? Pre-diabetic? Have thyroid issues? Dealing with high levels of pain due to inflammation? IBS? GO SEE A DR to find out WHAT is ailing you that you can’t see with your naked eye.

5. Connect your REASON for getting healthy to a deeper WHY that will give you the gumption to GET UP and DO THE DAMN THING.. when you’d rather lay in bed.. or eat that thing that you KNOW isn’t in-line with your goals.

Yoga taught me how to apply what I learned in the weight room from a different level to achieve goals new goals and overcome a new set of obstacles.

Life also teaches us how to apply grit, strength, perseverance and courage to live another day but the key is flexibility.

Fitness FreakShow “A place where everyone, Fits!”

Hello! Welcome to my little place on the internet. The cover photos tell part of my story but not all. I became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer in Nov 2014 and a Fitness Nutritionist in 2015. I also hold a specialty certification in Weight Management. Like a lot of women, after the birth of my first child, I struggled to lose weight. I gained a whopping 50lbs my first pregnancy. I got my first taste of the “Fit Life” in 2005 when I decided to try the program “Body for Life” at 6 weeks postpartum. That program took me out of my comfort zone of being a “cardio bunny” and into the weight room. I fell in love! I didn’t know much about fitness at the time so I followed the program to a “T” and got great results. Enter year 2010, I gave birth to my second child, this time gaining 65lbs during my pregnancy. Now, you may be thinking...”What the hell Kiki...” but I will tell you that not only did I continue to exercise (weight lifting, and running) during my pregnancy; I also ate good nutritious foods. My Dr. at the time concluded “Your body just likes to gain weight during pregnancy.”

Although I wasn’t a stranger to the gym, losing weight after the birth of my second was NOT as easy as it had been with my eldest. I struggled for YEARS but I fought. I kept pushing, kept training, kept trying new programs and learning. I decided to become a trainer because I wanted to help others avoid the struggles I went through. I wanted to be a friend that understood the struggles of feeling like they’d tried EVERYTHING but nothing seemed to work. Despite what others may say, I do not feel that fitness is a “one size fits all” program. Sometimes you have to think outside of the box to get results.

Since becoming a trainer, I’ve found this to be one of the most rewarding journeys. I get to use my KNOWLEDGE to help others and my STRUGGLES allow me to be genuinely empathetic with my clients. Often times during my journey, I felt alone or misunderstood as it all seemed so easy for others to get fit. As a result of my journey, I developed a passion for helping others.
