Pitching sequence from big time Alcoa freshman Gabby Burkhart.
Coach Bailey had to decide who to pitch in Alcoa’s win or go home game vs Marion to Advance to State. So of course throwing your freshman pitcher out there is the obvious choice (sarcasm). Freshman Gabby Burkhart controlled Marion pitching a complete game 2 hit shutout to help Alcoa win 3-0 and advance to State. Wow!

Senior Cassa Arnold gave Alcoa the boost they needed against Marion with a huge home run in the second to give Alcoa a 2-0 lead. The energy on this team is electric! Nobody does a HR celebration like these Tornadoes.
