Due to weather moving through the area this morning we are delaying opening. Please check back closer to noon in case things change.

Isolated storms are possible this afternoon. Remember we are required by law to clear swimmers out of the water whenever lightening is detected in the area, even if in the distance. Water must remain clear for 30 minutes after last detection. For safety the playground is also closed during this time (metal equipment and all). The safest location in a storm is in your car or inside 4 walls.

Want to host a pool party this summer? We offer private pool party reservations Tue-Sun 6:30-8:30pm. We also offer rental of a pergola with picnic tables for parties during regular pool hours.

More than 60% of our private evening parties are already booked! Don't wait to make your reservation! We're usually 90% booked by the end of the first week of June.

**SAFETY TIP!!**

Ensure your child is visible in the water with bright, contrasting swim suit colors. Think 80s neons or channel your inner Vol with bright orange—neon orange is the most visible color!

Remember, the body of water matters too. Neon pink is perfect for light-bottomed swimming pools, but in lakes, neon orange, yellow, or green stand out more.

Darker colors can show up on the bottom of a light pool but are easily mistaken for debris or shadows. Plus, the more the water moves, the harder it is to see what's below the surface. Choose neon for the best visibility!

🌞 TODAY’S THE DAY! We are opening on a rain delay from 12–6PM! 🏊

Keep an eye on our page in case we make any additional changes to today’s schedule — there’s still a chance WE MAY CLOSE EARLY TODAY due to weather. ⛈️

As we kick off another great season at the pool, here are a few reminders to help make everyone’s experience safe and fun:

1️⃣ New summer, new staff!
Many of our concession stand workers are as young as 14, and almost all are brand new to the job. Please be kind and patient — they’re learning! (All staff except managers and Karns Lions Club volunteers are high school students.)

2️⃣ Lifeguards rule 🚨
What they say goes — for everyone. Safety first!

3️⃣ Cooler check 🧊
No glass, aluminum cans, or alcohol allowed. We reserve the right to inspect coolers. “No glass” applies to drinks, food containers, jars, dishes, etc.

4️⃣ Float policy 🌊
No outside floats except baby and toddler floats. No baby neck ring floats. No floats with glitter or confetti.
No worries — we’ve got free ring floats available for bigger kids and adults to use!

5️⃣ Covered picnic tables ⛱️
Picnic tables under the covered area are limited to ONE table per group with a 45-minute time limit during busy periods.

6️⃣ Party & group policy 🎉
Any group of 10 or more guests that includes a canopy/table setup, outside food, or decorations is considered a party and must receive pre-approval by calling the pool or stopping by in person.

💵 Cash is preferred!
We accept credit cards (with a 3% surcharge), but cannot accept debit or prepaid cards at the pool due to legal restrictions on surcharging.
$8 minimum purchase for credit cards.

👣 Tough on little feet!
The non-slip pool surface can irritate young waterlogged feet. Water shoes or swim socks are strongly recommended to help prevent irritation.

Due to cool temperatures and rain still moving through the area this morning, opening is delayed until NOON today.

We're optimistic weather will improve, but check back before heading to the pool in case there are any changes.
