Battle of Blount Fishing Tournament

Ok guys, unfortunately we’re gonna postpone the Battle of Blount Fishing Tournament until this Fall. We have a bunch of families from all of the teams traveling for summer vacations and various other commitments. The coaches have talked, and all agree this is the best solution for everyone. We plan to have the event around the start of the school year in August. This will serve as a great opportunity to get the season kicked off for the teams!! Stay tuned for more info!

****It’s go time for the Battle of Blount!*****

Steve, Adam, and JJ have secured the date for the 2023 Battle of Blount Fishing Tournament. This years event will be Saturday July 1st out of Louisville Point Park. We will fish from safelight to 12:30, and it will be a 3 fish limit. The event will be open to any and all anglers/captains that are current members of Blount County Teams that are in good standing with the Tennessee Bass Nation High. Registration will be held through a Google Doc that will posted this week on this page. Registration will close June 26th at 6:00pm. Below are some of the details. Reach out to your coach if you have any questions.

•Date-July 1st
•Location-Louisville Point Park
•Time- Safelight until 12:30
•3 fish limit
•Entry- $30
•2 divisions(high school-juniors)
•Boat numbers determined by random draw
•All anglers and captains must meet TBN requirements
•All BASS/Bassmaster High School rules apply
•all payouts will be in gift cards to local tackle shops

Hey everyone, we just wanted to give a quick update on the 2023 Battle of Blount Fishing Tournament. We’ve decided to hold the event later in the season to avoid any angler/team conflicts with Tennessee Bass Nation trails and Championships. The coaches are currently working on securing a date and location that will be great for everyone!!

The lunker awards for the 2022 season were something really special! Thanks to Jake and Amanda Hoagland for sponsoring those prizes in honor of our special friend Gary. We were very happy to have Ed and Janet Bowman Lindsey at the event to present the plaques to both winners in middle and high school!
