Points Race #3 is this Saturday! 🏁

We’re hoping all the bad luck is finally behind us. The motors are back and stronger than ever, the tires are ready, and now it’s all about staying ahead of the weather and making sure our prep work is on point.

Racing is never easy, but we’re excited about what we have heading into this weekend and can’t wait to get back on the track.

Race day recap from Godspeed for the 2nd points race 🏁

Everything was going good until practice when the motor wouldn’t turn over 6300 RPM. We came in, changed carbs, and tried again. It got a little better, but the issue still wasn’t fixed.

After qualifying last, we made the decision to swap motors before the feature. Once we rolled back out, the kart finally came alive. We worked our way up to 5th before the tires gave up late in the race, and after getting hit and spun in turn two, our night came to an end.

We’ll get the motor back to the shop this week and figure out the next step moving forward.
