Here are the details for tryouts for the summer team. Please make sure your son has an updated physical dated past April 15th.

To all of our friends, families, co-workers, and fans of CBMS Boys Basketball, I thank you for supporting this years team! We have a group of fourteen amazing boys. We are looking forward to using the money to purchase 8th grade night items, have pregame team meals, team building opportunities, money for the banquet and more. We hope that you can help us reach our goal but also come out to one of our games to support these young men that are working so hard every day!

We celebrated a fantastic season tonight at our annual banquet.

A huge thanks to the GIANT of all Giants, Coach John Melnick, for providing a pizza party for the guys today. Pizza, shooting contests, and free shirts. A good afternoon.


*We had 3 guys missing who were at the regional National History Day competition at UT.

This was not how we wanted things to end, but we came up just short today in the state sectionals. The Brotherhood is strong and has many things to be proud of this season.
-18 wins (most in a single season in school history)
-Kymani Smith All-County (3 years in a row)
-Kymani Smith (2nd time) and Jaimen Barnett were All-Tournament selections in the district tournament
-3-Peat Hollis Eble Champions
-3-Peat John Melnick New Year's Battle at the Bluff Champions
-District runner-up
-Back to back appearances in the state sectionals
-Team GPA of 3.51!!!
-TSSAA Distinguished Academic Award for the 7th year in a row (highest award from the state)
-Carried themselves as gentlemen on and off the court all season

These young men are individuals who continue to make Cedar Bluff proud.
