Another big weekend for Gaelic games in Knoxville! We’re excited to host Colm Egan for a weekend of club development around hurling and camogie. All club participants are invited to take advantage of this great opportunity 🤘

Wow, what a killer time we had at our 9th Annual Scruffy City Invitational over the weekend! We had 12 teams overall, 8 men’s and 4 women’s, with folks traveling in from all across the Southeast and beyond. The weather along with the live music was hittin’ just right and competitive games were had through out the day.

KGAC Camogie played their first official matches in club history going 2-2 on the day. We are tremendously proud of these women and the progression they’ve made in such a short time. Up Knoxville Camogie!

KGAC Hurling submitted two evenly split teams representing not only our club, but also our Pub League sponsors and The Knoxville Alliance squad was able to take home the championship by narrowly defeating a strong Cleveland/Augusta squad in overtime in the finals.

Overall, the Knoxville GAC had nearly 50 players who participated on the day! We are excited to see our group growing and developing over the years. Massive thanks to everyone who travelled to participate, volunteered to make it all go, and who showed up to support. You make it all worthwhile 🙏

Knoxville GAC: Where Irish Craic Meets Appalachian Soulshine 🤙

We took a quick break after Nationals, but we’re back, baby! Knocking the rust off with some fundamentals and teaching any ball players out there that want to try the best sport in the world

Its been a week since the KGAC had the opportunity to represent the at Nationals with the goal of showing everyone what Knoxville can bring to the pitch. We are extremely proud to have been able to field a team composed of KGAC veterans and newcomers. We were able to head back to Knoxville believing fully that we accomplished our goal in our first Nationals trip as a club. Thank you to and for the matches. We learned a lot and we look forward to continuing to grow and progress.
