Our Race Card is Full This Weekend
Joshua Chesney, of Maynardville, TN is once again going to bring his rocket ship out to race with the AAS this weekend! This young man has some phenomenal speed and will be looking to put the #5 in victory lane!
Join us this Friday, April 14th for the 2nd Annual Race Your Ice Off/Pack the Track Challenge where five fans (more if attendance meets different tiers) could win a piece of $5,000 (more if attendance reaches different tiers) just for coming to the track at I-75 Raceway and Saturday, April 15th at Lake Cumberland Speedway Dirt Racing! The events will pay $7,500 and $3,000 to win respectively totaling over $10,000 on the line for opening weekend, just to WIN! BRISTOL BABY!!!
What day!
46 cars showed up hoping to make the 24 car field, we were just happy to be there, but hoping to make the show, Joshua qualified 8th in Group B, putting him starting 3rd in heat 3, Joshua secured 3rd place in his heat and sealing his spot in the 30 lap Feature Race, starting 16th and working his way to 11th before a wash up sent him into the wall in turn 1 with 12 laps to go!
So this week we will be on the shop fixing the axle and beating the sheet metal out, to do it all over again -75 Raceway!!
We will see you all Saturday!!!
