USSSA East TN Opener 8.22.26- Athens, TN

What a day for our girls! They finished 3-1 on the day and 3rd in the Gold Bracket, battling against some incredible 2nd-year 10U teams and some amazing athletes!

The girls faced some tough competition and saw some incredible pitching, gaining valuable experience and learning a TON along the way.

We came up just one run short in the game that would have sent us to the championship—losing to our own older Diamond team. While it wasn’t the finish we wanted, we couldn’t be more proud of the fight these girls showed!

3-1. Gold Bracket. 3rd Place. LOTS of growth. 🥉

These girls have a drive for excellence and a strong competitive spirit. The future is bright for this group!

Sound the alarms! It's softball time again in Tennessee for the USA Diamond Select-10U Coggins girls. After a successful 35-7 spring in 8U, followed by a 13-1 10U summer rec campaign, the Diamonds are back in action this weekend for their first attempt at 10U travel. We are in Athens, TN for the East TN Opener put on by USSSA.

🎉We are proud to say we returned our whole roster from the spring PLUS picked up two very gifted players in Adaline and Aubree. Adaline was a key contributor in our summer success and we look for Aubree to make a big impact like she has everywhere she has played.

Go be great girls. We can't wait to see you back in action for this last leg of the 2026 season.

🎈🎊🎉Today we want to wish Kloe a very happy ninth birthday! 🎂 What makes this remarkable, she's also our youngest on the team. If you've watched Kloe play we can all agree we'd say no way. She's our shortstop, 3 or 4 hitter, was top of the team in every statistical category in the spring and summer. Even as the youngest, she also isn't scared to talk or fire up a teammate. Simply put, you know when she's on the dirt.

Kloe, we hope you have the best day! We look forward to the next year watching you keep crushing this game you love and being you! 🎉🥳

🚨The wait is almost over…..

🚨 We have a birthday today. 🎉 We would like to wish our utility, clutch hitter Alaina a happy birthday!! Alaina spent the last year working at pitcher making several clutch plays in the field. She's a true utility though in she will go wherever asked and does it with all out effort. At the plate she moves up and down the lineup wherever asked and delivers runs with a smile. Alaina, you have came so far, we wish you the very best birthday! 🎁
