Player Spotlight: Makinslee England 🎉

If you think Makinslee is fast on the bases, you should see her on skates. When she’s not playing softball, she’s barrel racing, pole bending, or asking her dad to hit her grounders and pop-ups in the yard to get extra reps. Her competitive drive shows up in everything she does.

She loves raspberries, cucumbers, and a medium-rare steak, and dreams of playing at Nebraska, Tennessee, Oklahoma, or Texas — though she’ll tell you she just wants the chance to compete at the next level anywhere she can keep playing the game she loves. Her pregame hype song is “Enter Sandman” by Metallica, and whatever you do, don’t step on the baselines before the game starts.

Whether she’s with her barrel horse Montana, her Goldendoodle Kimber, or her kitten Sq**rt, Makinslee brings heart, speed, and intensity everywhere she goes.🔥

🌟 Player Spotlight: Layla Gillespie 🌟

When Layla Gillespie isn’t on the field, you’ll find her soaking up time with friends and family or tapping into her creative side. She loves art and anything that feels like summer, especially beach days and sunshine vibes. Her favorite food is shrimp, and her dream is to one day play at UTK.

On game day, Layla locks in with her pregame hype song, Where Have You Been by Rihanna, and stays grounded by praying after warmups before taking the field. She doesn’t have any pets yet, but she’s definitely hoping one is in her future.

Layla brings heart, faith, and creativity into everything she does, and she’s just getting started. Keep an eye on this one. 💙🥎

🥎Player Spotlight: Fiona Brewer 🥎

Meet Fiona Brewer, a true two-sport athlete who brings nonstop energy wherever she plays. When she isn’t on the softball field, she’s on the basketball court, competing at a high level in both sports.

Her favorite food is orange chicken, and she dreams of playing at the University of Tennessee in both softball and basketball. Before first pitch, Fiona gets locked in by blasting TNT by AC/DC and has no superstitions. Fiona has lots of chickens for pets lol.

She’s confident, versatile, and fearless, and lets her play do the talking every time she steps on the field. 💪🔥

🌟 Player Spotlight: Teighan Rogers 🌟

Meet Teighan Rogers, a catcher with a big bat who brings both personality and dedication to the field. When she’s not playing softball, Teighan loves hanging out with family and friends, catching up on sleep, getting extra reps in, and showing off her musical side by playing the alto saxophone.

Her favorite foods are Italian dishes, California rolls, and Chick-fil-A, which feels like the perfect combo of comfort and fuel. Teighan dreams of playing at Colorado State University or the University of Georgia and keeps that goal front and center every time she competes.

Her go-to pregame pump-up song is Hot in Herre by Nelly, and she sticks to her superstitions by never stepping on the chalk before the game starts and always wearing her hair in a bubble braid to play her best. At home, she’s kept on her toes by her hairless cat, who definitely has main-character energy.💙🥎

Meet Ashton Wright! When she’s not on the field, Ashton loves being involved in her church’s youth group, watching movies, and spending time with her friends. Her favorite food is crab, and she dreams of one day playing at Oklahoma or Tennessee. Before game time, you’ll catch her getting locked in to Let ‘Em Know by Shaboozey or anything by Morgan Wallen. Ashton’s game-day superstition is simple but serious, she never steps on the chalk lines. At home, she’s kept busy with her Goldendoodle, Copper, and her cat, Sofia. A few fun facts about Ashton: she plays the violin, is learning Spanish, and is diving into photography. We’re excited to have her and can’t wait to watch her continue to grow this season! 💙🥎

🌟Player Spotlight: Izzy Metcalf 🌟

Meet Izzy Metcalf! When she’s not on the field, Izzy loves to draw and listen to music, always finding ways to express her creativity. Her favorite food is orange chicken, and she dreams of one day playing for the Tennessee Lady Vols.

Before game time, Izzy locks in by turning the TV off and getting dialed in with Kendrick Lamar. She sticks to her game-day routine and makes sure to never step on the white lines. At home, Izzy is a proud dog mom to three pups: Ellie, Hank, and Bear.

We’re excited to have Izzy and can’t wait to watch her continue to grow and compete! 🥎🐾

🌟 Player Spotlight: Lennyn Grubb 🌟

Meet Lennyn Grubb, a player who brings energy, discipline, and personality to everything she does. When she is not on the field, Lennyn enjoys hanging out with friends and spending time cleaning and organizing. Her favorite foods are Chick-fil-A nuggets with plenty of extra sauce and watermelon.

Before game time, you will find Lennyn getting locked in with her pregame pump up songs, “Church Clap” and “Lip Gloss.” She is serious about her routine and makes sure to avoid stepping on the foul line.

Off the field, Lennyn loves the outdoors and enjoys camping and swimming. She has a Yorkie named Cocoa and a favorite chicken named Spatula. Lennyn also brings an impressive athletic background, having competed in gymnastics for nine years, which shows in her balance, body control, and focus. 💙🥎

✨ Player Spotlight: Henley Worley ✨

When Henley Worley isn’t on the field with Vibe or competing in travel volleyball, she stays busy repping her Enka community as a proud Sugar Jet in softball, volleyball, and basketball. Off the field, Henley loves shopping trips with her Nonny, spending time with her cousins and friends, and showing up to support everyone at their ballgames. She has a creative side too. Music, art, makeup, fashion, photography, and animals all make the list, along with movie and TV nights spent with her two dogs, Ginny and Big Al. Fuel her up with crab legs, wings, cheese fries, and Starbucks and she is good to go.

Henley’s game-day policy says it all: “Gotta look good to play good.” She stays locked in with her headphones on until she is fully warmed up and is at her best when she is singing to herself or dancing between pitches. Her walk-up song has to mean something, which is why Glory by the Score leads the way, with favorites like Free Bird, The State of Massachusetts, So Fresh & So Clean, and Knock ’Em Dead Kid rounding out the playlist. Just like her music taste, Hen brings an eclectic, confident energy to everything she does, and it shows every time she steps on the field. 💙🥎

✨ Player Spotlight: Braelyn Smith ✨

Meet Braelyn Smith, but around the team she goes by “B.” When she’s not grinding on the field, you’ll most likely find her in the kitchen cooking up something delicious. Her favorite dish? Stuffed shells.

Braelyn dreams of continuing her softball journey at NC State or Appalachian State, and she brings that focus and drive with her every time she steps between the lines. Before game time, she’s locked in listening to 10K by KB, and she never steps into the batter’s box without adjusting her helmet first. Superstition matters.

Off the field, she lives the full farm life with cows, pigs, chickens, and four dogs keeping things busy at home. Hardworking, grounded, and all about the details, B is a key part of what makes Vibe Arnold 14U special.

Blu brings energy, confidence, and her own unique vibe to the field. When she’s not playing softball, you can find her listening to K-pop, especially ENHYPEN, BTS, ATEEZ, CORTIS, and Stray Kids. Her favorite food is wings, and her dream is to one day play at the University of Tennessee.

Before games, Blu gets locked in with her go-to pump up song, “Chk Chk Boom” by Stray Kids. She sticks to her routine, making a cross outside the batter’s box before stepping in, and carries that focus into every at bat. Off the field, she’s a big animal lover with three dogs and three cats at home.
