History was made Saturday as Parlay defeated the previously undefeated Straw Hat Crew, 34–13, to become the first-ever 865 Elite Adult Flag Football League champions.

This championship was a rematch between two teams that had already met earlier in the season. In their first matchup, Straw Hat Crew came away with a 34–21 victory. This time, however, Parlay came ready to finish the job.

Leading the way for Parlay was 2026 League MVP Darius Harper, who delivered an outstanding championship-game performance.

Harper's performance, combined with a strong effort from the entire Parlay team, helped secure the championship and put their name in the history books as the league's first champions.

Straw Hat Crew's defense had its moments as well, with Zach Crawford recording two interceptions. However, Parlay's defense made a major impact throughout the game.

Straw Hat Crew turned to multiple quarterbacks throughout the game in an effort to find an offensive spark, but Parlay's defense continued to create pressure and opportunities. Straw Hat Crew ultimately threw five interceptions, making it difficult to build any offensive momentum.

After an undefeated regular season and a championship run that brought them to the final game, Straw Hat Crew's remarkable season came to an end just short of the title.

For Parlay, this was the moment they had been working toward.

They didn't just win the rematch — they won the championship.

🔥 THE ROAD TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP IS ALMOST COMPLETE! 🔥

The playoffs delivered everything we expected — close finishes, defensive stands, big plays, and games that came down to the final moments.

Here’s a look back at the playoff action:

🏈 PARLAY 29 — CAB 14
CAB kept this one close for most of the game, but a late red-zone turnover gave Parlay the lead and shifted the momentum. CAB had one final opportunity to tie the game but came up short, allowing Parlay to seal the victory, 29-14.

🏈 KNOXVILLE KNIGHTS 20 — PUBLIC ENEMIES 19
A back-and-forth battle came down to the final seconds. Public Enemies had an opportunity to kick a field goal and take the lead, but a matter of inches and an illegal touching penalty kept the Knights alive. Knoxville held on for the dramatic 20-19 victory.

🏈 865 JUNK 20 — COAT KINGS 14
Both offenses came ready to play, but the difference was the 865 Junk defense. Two crucial red-zone stops kept Coat Kings from turning drives into points. 865 Junk finished the game-winning drive and secured the 20-14 victory.

🏈 STRAW HAT CREW 42 — 865 JUNK 19
Straw Hat Crew wasted no time taking control. With big plays and plenty of highlight-reel moments, they built a commanding lead and never looked back, advancing with a convincing 42-19 victory.

🏈 PARLAY 26 — KNOXVILLE KNIGHTS 7
Parlay's defense came to play in this quarterfinal matchup. The Knights struggled to find answers while Parlay consistently moved the ball and pulled away for a 26-7 victory, advancing to the championship game.

They finished the regular season as the only undefeated team in the league, posting a perfect 7-0 record while scoring a league-high 214 points and allowing only 71. Their +143 point differential shows just how dominant they have been throughout the season.

Lucky 7’s come into the playoffs as the underdog, but they have nothing to lose. A postseason upset would completely change the story of their season, and they'll be looking to put together their best performance when it matters most.

But until someone proves they can knock off the undefeated Straw Hat Crew, it's hard to pick against them.

Week 6 is officially in the books! Another Saturday of 865 Elite football brought us an undefeated team staying on top, a big win for 865 Junk, a dominant performance from Coat Kings, and a name change for one of the league's teams.

🏈 GAME 1 — Straw Hat Crew 31, Lucky 7’s 7

Lucky 7’s came into Week 6 fresh off their first win of the season and hoping to carry that momentum into their matchup with the undefeated Straw Hat Crew.

Unfortunately for Lucky 7’s, Straw Hat Crew showed once again why they remain the team to beat.

The Straw Hats took care of business with a 31-7 victory, extending their undefeated record to 6-0 and continuing their run at the top of the 865 Elite standings.

Lucky 7’s fought hard, but Straw Hat Crew proved once again that knocking off the league's only undefeated team is no easy task.

🏈 GAME 2 — 865 Junk 33, Knoxville Knights 26

This one turned into one of the more competitive games of the day.

The Knoxville Knights came in looking to add another win and continue their push near the top of the standings, while 865 Junk was looking to build some momentum after an up-and-down Week 5.

In the end, it was 865 Junk coming away with the 33-26 victory.

The offense put up points, and 865 Junk was able to make enough plays down the stretch to hold off the Knights in a close one.

It was another solid win for Parlay as they continue to battle near the top of the standings. Despite the loss, Public Enemies showed they are still capable of competing and will look to bounce back moving forward under their new identity.

Fresh off their first win of the season, Lucky 7’s are looking to keep the momentum rolling.

Unfortunately for them, they’re running into the only undefeated team left in the league.

Straw Hat Crew comes into this one at 5-0 after enjoying a Week 5 bye, giving them a chance to rest up and prepare for the final stretch of the season.

Lucky 7’s have nothing to lose and could make things interesting early, but Straw Hat Crew has been dominant all season. We expect the undefeated champs to come out ready and take control quickly.

🏈 865 Junk vs. Knoxville Knights (11am Game)

Both of these teams went 1-1 in their Week 5 doubleheaders, and both will be looking to get back into the win column.

🏈 865 Elite Adult Flag Football League — Week 5 Recap

Week 5 is officially in the books, and it was another exciting Saturday of football. We saw close games, a dramatic comeback, a first win of the season, and several teams making moves in the standings.

With Straw Hat Crew on a bye this week, the rest of the league had an opportunity to close the gap.

Here’s how the day went:

🏈 Game 1 — Lucky 7’s 28, C.A.B. 27

Lucky 7’s finally picked up their first win of the season, and they did it in a thriller.

After starting the season 0-4, Lucky 7’s came out ready to battle C.A.B. from start to finish. Neither team was able to create much separation, and the game stayed within one score throughout.

When the final whistle blew, Lucky 7’s had held on for a 28-27 victory, officially putting their first win on the board.

A huge win for Lucky 7’s and hopefully something they can build on heading into the final weeks of the season.

🏈 Game 2 — Coat Kings 28, Knoxville Knights 22

The Knoxville Knights had a rough start to this one, falling behind 16-0 early.

But they refused to let the game get away from them.

The Knights fought their way all the way back, eventually tying the game at 22-22 with roughly 40 seconds remaining.

Unfortunately for Knoxville, the comeback came to a heartbreaking end when a late pick-six gave Coat Kings the lead and ultimately secured the victory.

A tough way for the Knights to lose after fighting back from a 16-point deficit, but an important win for Coat Kings in a game that came down to the wire.

🏈 Game 3 — 865 Junk 30, Coat Kings 25

865 Junk had Matt Warrington back in the lineup, and his return made an immediate impact.

How immediate?

First play from scrimmage: touchdown pass.

865 Junk came out firing and continued to move the ball throughout the game. Coat Kings kept things competitive, but 865 Junk was able to do enough offensively to hold on for a 30-25 victory.

It was an impressive offensive performance from 865 Junk and a big win that moved them to 2-4 on the season.

🏈 Game 4 — Knoxville Knights 32, Past Our Primetime 22

The Knights came right back for their second game of the day and bounced back in a big way.

Knoxville jumped out to an early lead against Past Our Primetime and stayed in control for most of the game.

POPT made a push late, but the Knights had already built enough of a cushion to keep the game out of reach.

Knoxville closed out the day with a 32-22 victory, splitting their two games and improving to 3-2 on the season.

A solid bounce-back performance after the heartbreaking loss earlier in the day.

💥 Game 5 — Parlay 28, 865 Junk 0

The final game of the day was expected to be a competitive matchup.

Instead, Parlay completely took control.

After scoring 30 points earlier in the day, 865 Junk couldn't get anything going offensively against a Parlay defense that came out ready to play.

Parlay kept 865 Junk off the scoreboard while continuing to put points up on offense until the game reached the mercy rule.

The result was a dominant 28-0 shutout.

A great way for Parlay to finish the day and another statement win for a team sitting near the top of the standings.

After starting the season 0-4, Lucky 7’s finally got into the win column with their 28-27 victory over C.A.B.

It may only be one win, but getting that first victory could provide some much-needed momentum heading into the final stretch.

📈 A Tough Day for 865 Junk

865 Junk experienced both sides of the league in Week 5.

They opened the day with an impressive 30-point performance against Coat Kings with Matt Warrington back in the lineup.

Then they turned around and were shut out 28-0 by Parlay.
