The kids were fast and the cars looked good. 🏁 There were definitely some serious heartbreakers this weekend, but one thing I can say with a full heart is that these kids never gave up for a second.

They battled from the back to the front on multiple occasions, kept digging when things didn’t go their way, and showed so much determination every single time they hit the track.

We may not have walked away with the finishes that truly showcase how well they raced this weekend, but sometimes the finishing position doesn’t tell the whole story.

They learned. They battled. They showed resilience. And they never quit. ❤️

As a parent, I couldn’t be more proud of Brynley and Charlie. The trophies and finishes are great, but watching them handle the hard days, keep their heads up, and give everything they have means so much more.

We’ll take what we learned, keep working, and come back stronger. 🏁💪 (Briggs day rain out 😞)

Seeing her name on this suit makes this whole journey feel a little more real. From being selected for the Top 48, advancing to the Top 20, and then earning her place in the Top 10, every step has been such an incredible experience.

At just 8 years old, she continues to show us what can happen when you work hard, stay passionate, keep learning, and truly love what you do.

This suit represents so much more than racing. It represents the friendships, lessons, opportunities, hard work, and memories she’s gaining along the way.

Brynley was SO consistent all day and did an amazing job after an already long weekend — and somehow threw in two 40-minute field hockey games before racing! 🏑🏁 She didn’t always have the easiest starting spots and got shuffled back at times, but she kept working and made things happen!

What we’re most proud of isn’t just the finishes. Both kids raced hard, showed great sportsmanship, cheered on their friends, and still found plenty of time to just be kids and play with their race buddies. Watching that determination and grit continue to grow makes us incredibly proud! 💪🏁
