LV Bears 10U Yow went 1-1 on the weekend!

The first game was a rough one. The boys didn’t play to the level I know they are capable of, but we had a good talk after the game, and the boys knew exactly what they needed to clean up.

They came out in Game 2 with a completely different mindset, battling from start to finish and fighting their way to an 8-7 victory over the 5-1 SCBC Knights 10U.

I’m extremely proud of these boys for how they responded. Baseball is going to bring losses and tough games, but what matters is how you respond when things don’t go your way. These boys showed a lot of fight and proved they can bounce back and compete with anybody.

The Bears also snuck their way into the Top 15 in the NCS rankings! 📈🐻

Still plenty of work to do, but we’re headed in the right direction. Proud of this group and excited to see what we can accomplish together.

The LV Bears 11U Harvey went 1-1 today, losing on a walk off to USA Prime - Paris, 6 to 7. That didn’t sit right with the players, so they made a decisive statement win against Boerne Buffaloes, 12 to 3.

This was an all out team effort, with productive at bats advancing runners, and driving them in! The message this week was about mindset and staying positive, and I feel that it certainly paid off.

The work doesn’t stop… back to practice tomorrow! Go Bears!

Bears 8u- Salazar 1-1 on the weekend!
Picking up another win in their second weekend competing together! We’ve seen so much growth and improvement from this group literally day to day! Most importantly and the most special part, we love seeing these boys continue to come together as more than a team but as a family. We’re building something special with this group, and we’re so proud of the way they continue to support each other, compete, and get better together. So much belief in the potential of these guys and where they’re headed! Will always have things to work on, but the progress is showing!

LV Bears 13U Schuchart — 2-0 this weekend!
A huge weekend for this group. We won game one, and in game two they came out with a 5-4 win in a huge game against Texas Thunder, one of the top and most respected organizations in the area.

This weekend earned the boys the #1 spot in the NCS fall power rankings in one of the deepest and most competitive leagues in the San Antonio area. We are so proud of these boys and the young men they are becoming, and we appreciate all the blood, sweat, and tears they pour into each other and our program. Always work to do, but there is so much more belief in this group. Our best baseball is still ahead, God willing!
Thank You Jesus for healthy bodies, the opportunity we’ve been blessed with, and the boys and families that make this possible. To You all the glory.

Bears 14u- Schuchart
A special opening weekend and a lot of first for these families! Not every game is going to go the way we want, but every game gives us an opportunity to get better. And that’s what makes the journey so special!Proud of these boys for continuing to compete and fight until the end.

We’ve got things to clean up, things to learn, and a lot of work ahead of us- but there is a lot of belief in this talented young group. We’re going to keep showing up, keep working, and keep getting better together. Best baseball is still ahead, back to work we go!! 🤍💙

Bears 12u- Bruce
Such a fun and exciting opening weekend for this group. So many flashes of potential and growth since they started together just a couple weeks ago. Going out and competing against organizations that have been together for years and showing real fight that was huge for our boys.
They’ve been working hard and will continue to work hard. We can’t wait to see how they grow together this fall. They’ve already fallen in love with the work. Now it’s time to fall in love with the journey. Special times ahead for these athletes and families. 🤍💙

Bears 8U- Salazar kicked off their fall season this weekend, getting their first win in their first weekend ever playing together! Select ball familes you know exactly how hard that is to do! They took a tough game 1 loss, but kept their heads up, stayed positive, and didn’t let the loss bring them down. They responded the right way and got the game 2 win!
There’s still a lot for us to work on, learn, and improve as a young team, but this weekend was a great start. I’m excited to watch this team grow and develop throughout the season. The future is bright for this little group! 💙🤍
