Our goal isn't simply to build teams for next weekend. We believe development and winning go hand in hand, and that teams built on strong fundamentals and confident players tend to have success take care of itself.

We want players to leave the season not only as better softball players, but as young women who are willing to challenge themselves, support others, and step into leadership opportunities both on and off the field.

🥎 Welcome Coach Abby Cannon to Midwest Crush 10U! 🥎

We’re excited to introduce Abigail "Abby" Cannon as the new Head Coach of our Midwest Crush 10U team for the 2026-27 season.

Abby brings more than a decade of coaching experience to the dugout, beginning in 2013 when she had the chance to coach alongside her own rec coach. Since then, she has coached four rec seasons while continuing to grow the same love for the game that started when she first picked up a glove at 10 years old.

Her vision for this team is simple: create an environment where players are pushed to improve, encouraged to compete, and supported every step of the way.

Coach Abby believes great teams are built on accountability, respect, effort, and putting the team ahead of individual success. Along with developing strong softball fundamentals, she wants players to leave the season with more confidence, stronger leadership skills, and an even bigger love for the game than when they arrived.

Away from the field, Abby is a mother of five and works as a caregiver for the elderly. Her faith and values shape the way she leads — with compassion, encouragement, and integrity.
